What is glaucoma?

Glaucoma or green star is damage to the ocular nerve, which is characterised by an increase in eye pressure.

This eye disorder is characterised in the first phase by a gradual loss of vision.
As the disease advances, and if left untreated, there can be a gradual loss of the field of vision and even blindness.
