What is macular degeneration?

Macular degeneration is an eye disorder which affects the central section of the retina.
Reading becomes difficult and blurred spots appear in the field of vision.
There are 2 kinds of macular degeneration: dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
