On Friday, February 21st 2020, Doctor Vryghem will attend the 24th ESCRS Winter Meeting in Marrakech. The congress takes place at Mövenpick Hotel Mansour Eddahbi & Palais des Congrès.
On the Cornea day Doctor Vryghem is the moderator of section 2 themed ‘Management of Corneal Complications after Refractive Surgery.’
Also he will be giving a presentation during the Cataract Surgery Didactic course.
The following subject will be :
- Cataract surgery and irregular corneal astigmatism: Pterygium, Keratoconus, Post keratoplasty

Doctor Vryghem will take part in the 36th Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons that takes place from September 22 to September 26 in Vienna, Austria.

Dr Vryghem will take part in an instructional course on Saturday 22nd September where the following topic will be discussed on the basis of videos' LASIK: basic steps for safety and great results.

On Sunday, September 23, 2018, he will hold 1 presentation. Where he will present his results on the following topic:
- - Refractive prediction accuracy after intra-ocular lens implantation in eyes following myopic or hyperopic,  Laser in situ keratomileusis: (lasik) comparison of 2 calculation method.

Finally, Dr Vryghem is the course leader of an instructional course on 'Lasik: prevention and management' which is given on Sunday 23 September 2018. (This instructional course he has already given every year since 2001 at every ESCRS.

On friday the 9th of september 2016, Dr. Vryghem organised the 8th Expert Meeting during the ESCRS congress in Copenhagen.

The theme of the Meeting is '25 Years of LASIK, the Transition'. Doctor Vryghem will give a talk on LASIK: past, present and future.

During the ESCRS Congress in Barcelona, which took place on the 4th of September 2015, Dr. Vryghem organised the VIIth Expert Meeting on ‘Current surgical options in the management of Keratoconus’.
